After a year of running Oldies first as “MeTV-FM” and then “The Time Machine“, Donald Brown’s KXEG AM LLC’s 1280 KXEG/96.1 K241CS Phoenix has returned to Spanish AC “Xtasis Radio“.
The brand is also heard on a network in Nevada including 1400 KNNR Sparks/103.3 K277DL Washoe Valley, 94.1 KDJJ Fernley, and 101.1 KPKK Amargosa Valley. The return to Phoenix follows the company beginning to operate Evans Broadcast Company’s 94.9 K235DC Reno earlier this year, giving it full FM coverage of the city. K235DC had been operating as Alternative “X94.9” fed by Evans’ 100.9 KRFN-HD2.
KXEG previously simulcast KNNR from September 2023 until September 2024.
