Worship One To Launch In St. Louis

88.1 Worship One KLJT St. Louis KDHXGateway Creative Broadcasting has announced it will launch Contemporary Worship “88.1 Worship One” KLJT St. Louis in January 2026.

Gateway acquired the former 88.1 KDHX out of bankruptcy for $8.75 million and began operating the signal earlier this month with a placeholder Rhythmic Hot AC format simulcasting 95.5 KXBS-HD2.

The organization, which also owns Christian AC “99.1 Joy-FM” KLJY Clayton and Christian Hip Hop “Boost 95.5” KXBS Bethalto IL/97.7 KQBS Potosi MO, has appointed Brett Hager as Assistant Program Director and morning host for the new station. Hager will join the organization on December 1 from his current role as PD/afternoon host at “90.7/98.9 Hope-FM” WNFR Sandusky/WNFH Vassar MI.

Hager said, “To be invited into what God is already doing through this team and in this city is incredibly exciting for me! I cannot wait to see how God uses this station to give the community the words and melodies to Worship One.”

Jeremy Louis, PD of KLJY, who will also add that role for KLJT said, “Brett’s heart for reaching and encouraging the next generation for Christ, and serving this community, will be a great addition to the team!”
