Westwood One is revamping its nightly CHR show as “The Elliott Show” will be replaced by “Nightly with Jade and Tyler” starting Monday, January 5.
The new show will feature “Q99.7” WWWQ Atlanta afternoon host Jade Jones and “107.3 The Vibe” KMJK Kansas City morning host Tyler Frye. Affiliates were notified of the change today with Westwood One describing it as “This dynamic duo brings fresh energy, music expertise, and engaging personalities to keep your audience entertained and connected.”
After beginning her career as an intern for the Bert Show, Jade has hosted nights and then afternoons at WWWQ since 2018. Frye joined then “95.7 The Vibe” in December 2021 as midday host and moved to mornings when the station relocated to 107.3 in October 2023. Frye previously spent seven years hosting nights at Cumulus’ 104.1 KRBE Houston, and has also hosted nights at iHeartMedia’s “G105” WDCG Raleigh and Max Media’s “Hot 107.1” KDHT Denver.
The current show hosted by Elliott King debuted as “Elliott and Nina” in January 2022. Co-host Nina Hajian departed at the start of 2023 and now co-hosts the syndicated Jubal Show. No word yet on King’s status.
