iHeartMedia has flipped Sports “97.3 The Game” WRNW Milwaukee to AC “B97.3“.
The move takes the AC mantle from Milwaukee Radio Alliance’s “B93.3” WLDB as that station awaits the closing of its sale to K-Love Inc.
The new brand launched at 12pm with Pharell Williams “Happy”, Journey “Don’t Stop Believin’” , Post Malone “Circles”, Fine Young Cannibals “She Drives Me Crazy”, and Adele “Rumour Has It”. WLIT Chicago midday host Robin Rock is currently being heard in that daypart.
The Sports “97.3 The Game” brand had launched in November 2018 as the third Sports FM in the market along with Good Karma Brands’ “ESPN Milwaukee” 94.5 WKTI and Audacy’s “105.7 The Fan” 1250 WSSP/W289CB. Its programming would be syndicated across the state to iHeartMedia stations in Madison, Rhinelander, and Wausau as well as Midwest’s WNFL Green Bay.
WRNW has served as flagship of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers since the 2022 season.
