Cox Media Group Hot Talk “102.5 The Bone” WHPT Sarasota/Tampa has signed an extension to continue as flagship for the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning.
WHPT took over as home of the Lightning for the 2022/23 season with Cox also programming an all-Lightning channel on WHPT-HD2. Dave Mishkin and Phil Esposito will continue to call the games with Greg Linnelli hosting pre-game, post-game, and intermissions.
The new agreement will add additional ancillary programming to the deal with a weekly show featuring Lightning personalities, expanded postgame show, and daily Lightning updates on Cox’s other Tampa area stations.
