Sticks Media To Acquire And Relaunch KMSO & KHDV

Mountain Broadcasting 102.5 KMSO MissoulaTodd Nixon’s Sticks Media has announced the acquisition and upcoming relaunch of 102.5 KMSO Missoula and 107.9 KHDV Darby/Hamilton MT from Sheila Callahan & Friends Inc.

The two stations went silent at the end of 2024 following the retirement of the owners. Sticks Media will acquire the stations for $255,000 structured with a $100 down payment, monthly installments of $4000 for 36 months, and 25% of the monthly gross sales until the combined payments reach the total. The seller can match any potential sale of the stations within five years of closing.

The two stations will relaunch on Monday, December 8. KMSO will resurrect its former Hot AC “102.5 Mountain FM” identity, while KHDV will debut a new format and brand at that time replacing its former Classic Hits “The Drive” identity.

Nixon stated, “These stations have a deep history and a loyal following. It’s an honor to help bring them back. A special thanks to Sheila Callahan and Max Murphy for their support, trust, and partnership. Their guidance has been invaluable in carrying these great stations into their next chapter.”
