WQBG has a pending application to move to Carroll Township where it will cover Harrisburg with 1.1kW/231.4m. WQBG is currently part of one of 7 Mountains’ “Bigfoot Country” simulcasts with 98.3 WRBG Mifflinburg and 106.5 WCFT-FM Bloomsburg.
After closing on its $410,000 purchase of 100.9 WVLY-FM Milton PA from Sunbury Broadcasting, Vic Michael’s Michael Radio Company turns around and sells the station license to K-Love Inc. for $200,000. Michael will retain WVLY-FM’s tower site.
After selling Hip Hop “97.9 Jamz” WJWZ Wetumpka/Montgomery AL to Roscoe ‘Killer Diller’ Miller’s Autaugaville Radio last week for $1 million>, Bluewater Broadcasting is turning around and acquiring Conservative Talk “News Talk 93.1” WACV Coosada from Liberty Acquisitions 825 LLC for $430,000. Bluewater has operated WACV via LMA since 2011.

Holy Family Communications has withdrawn its $150,000 sale of Catholic “Stations of the Cross” 730 WACE Chicopee/Springfield, 1230 WNEB Worcester, and 970 WESO/101.1 W266DK Southbridge MA to Journey For Life Media.
