Total Media Group continues its expansion in Ohio with the purchase of Hot AC “Super Q 93.7” WQIO and Oldies “WMVO” 100.9 W265DJ/WQIO-HD2 Mount Vernon. from BAS Broadcasting for $1,362,000. BAS retains its six stations in Sandusky and Tiffin OH.
Bustos Media sells Regional Mexican “La Ranchera” 1130 KQRR Mount Angel/Portland OR to Iglesia Pentecostal Vispera Del Fin for $1,010,000. The buyer operates the Spanish Christian “La Estacion de Familia” network.
In a pair of deals, Augusta Radio Fellowship Institute is acquiring three stations in Georgetown SC. In the first deal, Todd Fowler’s GT Radio sells 93.7 WPGI Georgetown for $125,000. The second deal will acquire Classic Country 1400 WGTN/107.5 W298CO and Oldies 1470 WPIF/101.1 W266DG Georgetown from Tim Thomas Broadcasting for $150,000. Thomas acquired the duo earlier this year for $350,000.
Dickerson Broadcasting sells Country “Eagle Country 106.3” WEAG-FM Starke FL to the David Krieger led Florida Broadcast Media Group Inc. for $350,000.
Joshua Wright’s Wright Time Broadcasting LLC acquires 99.9 WXMZ Hartford KY from Andy Anderson’s Radio Active Media for $150,000. The seller retains 1080 WNES/104.7 W284AO Central City and 105.5 WKYA Greenville KY.
Translator Sales
Buddy Shula’s Radio One Buffalo acquires 93.3 W227BW Cheektowaga and 94.9 W235BC Bowmansville NY from Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes for $200,000. The translators, which currently rebroadcast 99.7 WZXV Palmyra/Rochester, will be paired with recently acquired and relaunched Conservative Talk “1270 The Patriot” WUSW Niagara Falls/Buffalo.
Sanpete County Broadcasting purchases 104.5 K283DS Manti UT from the University of Utah for $7500. The translator will rebroadcast the buyer’s “97.7 The Wolf” KWUT Elsinore.
