After announcing a pair of sales promotions earlier this week, Skyview Networks has promoted four to new roles.
Andrew Kalb rises from SVP/Business Development and Communications to EVP/Business Development and Communications. Kalb joined Skyview in 2022 after spending 22 years at ABC Radio Networks from 1997 to 2019 as Executive Director of Programming and News Coverage. In his new role, Kalb will further guide Skyview Networks’ strategic direction, identifying new business opportunities and shaping the company’s long-term growth path. He will continue to oversee Skyview’s business portfolio, including sports partnerships, affiliation strategies, and marketing, while working closely across finance, technology, and sales to ensure alignment and innovation that drive results.
Clayton Nix rises to EVP/Finance. Nix joined Skyview last year after previously spending 22 years in multiple Orlando and then corporate roles at Cox Media Group eventually rising to corporate Executive Director of Finance.
Nineteen year company veteran and current VP/Business Services Aaron Mellis takes on the new role of SVP/Technology as he “expands his leadership across operations, client relations, and technology departments as he directs Skyview’s broadcast service and software offerings. He will play a key role in driving initiatives that improve scalability, performance, and efficiency, while working closely with business development and finance to identify strategies, progress, and future opportunities. Through these efforts, Aaron will help strengthen Skyview’s portfolio and support the company’s continued growth.”
Renee Smith rises to SVP/Corporate Affairs as she oversees “initiatives that enhance internal communication and efficiency, improve employee services, and strengthen alignment across business activities to support the company’s strategic objectives”. Smith joined Skyview in 2009 as Director of Communication and Special Projects.
President/CEO Steve Jones said, “As we advance Skyview Networks and position our leadership to meet strategic priorities, I am proud to recognize several members of our leadership team whose vision and expertise have been essential to shaping our success. These appointments span key areas of the business and ensure we have the right leadership in place to guide our continued growth. Under this leadership, we are prepared to build on our success and pursue the opportunities ahead with clarity and confidence.”
