SiriusXM’s “Mad Dog Sports Radio” is completing its daily lineup refresh with the addition of a daily hour long call-in show hosted by Katie Nolan from 12-1pm Eastern/9-10am Pacific.
“Fan Service with Katie Nolan” is described as “an hour-long hotline for sports fans across the country to share their takes, celebrate their teams, ask questions, and air grievances.” Nolan joined SiriusXM earlier this year to host the twice-weekly podcast “Casuals” and will continue to host that as well.
Nolan commented, “Sports fandom is inherently about community, and I wanted to create a space where we can foster that. SiriusXM has already helped me welcome more fans into sports through my podcast ‘Casuals,’ and now with ‘Fan Service’ I’m excited to interact with that community in real time. Being a sports fan is a complex experience, and I’m dying to talk about it.”
SiriusXM SVP/Sports Programming, Content Marketing & Partnerships, and Artist Relations Jared Fox said, “Katie is an exceptionally versatile talent and brings a unique voice to the Mad Dog Sports Radio lineup, connecting with those fans who are as interested in what goes on outside the lines as much as what happens on the field. We’re thrilled to expand her presence on our platform. She’ll interact with our SiriusXM listeners live every weekday on Mad Dog Sports Radio and continue developing compelling content on ‘Casuals’ that reaches a broader podcast audience.”
Nolan has previously hosted shows for Fox Sports and ESPN across multiple platforms, served as a correspondent for NBC Sports including the 2022 Winter Olympics, and was a commentator on Apple TV+’s “Friday Night Baseball”. She joins a Mad Dog Sports Radio lineup that continues to feature “The D.A. Show With Babchik” in mornings, Adam Schein from 9am-12pm, and “Mad Dog Unleashed” from 3-6pm. The channel is also launching the “Stephen A. Smith Show” today from 1-3pm.
