Metallica is the newest artist to gain a permanent channel on SiriusXM.
“Maximum Metallica” will launch on Friday, August 29 on Channel 42 as the newest addition to the platform. Positioned as “The Most Metallica Anywhere”, the channel will feature a mix of recordings, live shows, interviews, and “surprises curated by the band members”. The channel will debut with the airing of a performance at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett NY on August 28 that will also air on Howard Stern’s “Howard 101” on Friday, September 5.
