Veteran sports radio personality Scott Ferrall was among staffers let go by Sports Betting network SportsGrid last week.
Ferrall joined SportsGrid in January 2020 to host “Scott Ferrall: Coast to Coast” from 4-6pm eastern and “In-Game LIVE” from 7-9pm. During his tenure the show has also aired on SportsGrid’s SiriusXM channel, Gow Media’s SportsMap radio network, and Sports Byline USA.
Ferrall also hosted late nights on CBS Sports Radio from 2012-20, was on SiriusXM’s “Howard 101“ from 2005-12 and was previously syndicated in the mid 90’s to many of the stations that now make up CBS’ Sports properties including WFAN New York and WIP-FM Philadelphia (then WYSP). Ferrall also spent time as morning host at CBS’ 102.7 WNEW New York and Lincoln Financial Media’s 560 WQAM Miami.
Ferrall is extending the podcasting work he does with Mickey ‘The Prophet’ Faust launching a thrice weekly longer form podcast.
The Sporting Tribune reports that other talent exited the network including host Mike Carver, host and producers Mathias Berbel and Brian Ciano, and host/analyst Jo Madden.
