Salem Media Group has announced the appointment of Richard A. von Gnechten as Chairman of the Board overseeing Board and Annual Stockholders meetings.
von Gnechten joined Salem’s Board of Directors at the start of this year, while also serving as COO/Chief Gift Strategist for WaterStone. He has also held executive roles for companies including Hawaiian Electric Company, Ravon Corporation, and Sapere Wealth Management.
Edward Atsinger III, who moved from CEO to Executive Chairman at the end of 2021, will retain that title overseeing operations of the Company until the end of the year.
