
Pillar Media has announced three promotions within its programming department.
Skip Mahaffey rises from Director of Programming Operations to Creative Director and Talent Coach. He also co-hosts mornings on the company’s Christian AC stations “Star 93.3” WAKW Cincinnati OH, “Star 101.5” KSRC Watkins/Denver CO, and “Star 99.1” Zarepath NJ with Kristen James. Mahaffey joined Pillar Media in October 2023 after most recently serving as morning host on “K-Love” from 2016 until then. He previously spent most of his career in Country radio hosting mornings at KPLX Dallas, WFUS and WQYK Tampa, and WCOL Columbus. He has also worked at stations Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Deigo, St. Louis, Tulsa, and Tucson.

Rob Lewis, who has served as Creative Services and Traffic Manager, rises to Programming Operations Manager. Senen ‘SLiM’ Rodriguez takes on the APD role at KSRC. Rodriguez joined the company in 2024 as part of its acquisition of Max Media’s Denver stations and currently hosts mornings on Christian Hip Hop “Flo 107.1” KFCO. He previously spent his career in secular radio with multiple roles in programming, production, and on-air at Max Media from 2010 to 2014 preceded by nine years in nights at Rhythmic CHR “KS 107.5” KQKS and time in his native San Francisco at KMEL and KYLD.
