After eight years at Hubbard Radio Hot AC “Q102” WKRQ Cincinnati, Natalie ‘Nat’ Jones is departing the Roy, Nat & Freddy Mac Show after today’s show.
Jones, a Cincinnati native, originally was teamed in afternoons with Jon Curl from 2017 to 2020. Following his exit, Freddy Mac joined her in 2020 and Roy Brown joined them in December 2022. Prior to joining WKRQ, she worked in film and was a touring stand-up comedian.
She told listeners, “This is a decision that I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about and mulling over and when it comes down to it this really who I am is who I am at my core. I listen to what happens and what’s going on in my gut and I don’t have something lined up. I’m not leaving here to go do something else specifically. Tomorrow, December 12 is my last day. I’m going to be traveling for the next month or so and then continuing on I’m still going to be here in Cincinnati and I’ll still be hosting bingo, hosting other things on the mic everywhere. I’ll be taking as many ski trips as I possibly can, DJ’ing everywhere I can. The next step when it gets solidified of course I’ll let you know as soon as possible.”
