Miami’s Shark Dies As WQAM Moves To FM

560 104.3 WQAM Miami The SharkAudacy Sports 560 WQAM Miami has begun simulcasting on 104.3 WSFS Miramar as “104.3 WQAM“.

The flip replaces Alternative “104.3 The Shark” with WQAM-FM call letters pending. WQAM and WQAM-FM will continue as flagship of the NBA’s Miami Heat.

WQAM had a 0.9 share in the June 2025 Nielsen Audio ratings. WSFS had a 2.2 share. 104.3 previously was Sports “104.3 The Ticket” WAXY-FM simulcasting 790 WAXY from 2012 until 2015.
