The Roger Holler led MARC Radio is expanding into Florida’s Treasure Coast with the purchase of the three related holding companies led by Mitchell Rubenstein operating as Treasure Coast Radio for $6 million.
MARC will acquire R&S Radio LLC’s “Fresh Country B94.7” WPHR-FM Gifford, Vero Beach Broadcasters’ Hot AC 93.7 WGYL Vero Beach, Soft AC “Ocean 97.1” WOSN Indian River Shores, and News/Talk 1490 WTTB/105.7 W289CF Vero Beach, and Vero Beach FM Radio Partnership’s Variety Hits “99.7 Jack-FM” WJKD. The sellers will retain the WTTB tower site and enter a three-year non-compete agains MARC Radio in the market.
MARC Radio owns clusters in Gainesville and Melbourne FL as well as standalone Christian AMs in Orlando and Dallas TX.
