Audacy Rhythmic AC “94.7 The Wave” KTWV Los Angeles has completed a revamp of its daily lineup as afternoon host Deborah Howell exits after an 18 year run.
Howell joined KTWV in 2008 following an over two decade run at Emmis New York. As ‘Deborah Rath’, she first anchored middays at Dance CHR “Hot 103” turned “Hot 97” WQHT from 1986 to 1994 followed by four years in afternoons at R&B Oldies “98.7 Kiss-FM” WRKS before finally spending a decade in middays at Smooth Jazz “CD 101.9” WQCD. She has also worked at multiple stations in her native Minneapolis and for seventeen years hosted an English language radio show in Tokyo along with commercial and imaging voiceover.
Evening host Frankie Ross moves up to afternoons from 2-7pm. Last month, weekend host Greg Mack took over mornings with Liz Hernandez moving from mornings to middays. Mack has been with KTWV since 2013 after previously working in the market at 1580 KDAY and 102.3 KJLH. Hernandez joined the station in September 2022 after previously co-hosting “Big Boy In The Morning” on “Power 106” KPWR from 2001 to 2011 and co-hosted mornings at Hot AC “104.3 My-FM” KBIG. She also has worked for multiple cable networks and owns communications and networking community Wordaful.
