Audacy has promoted Kyle Madson to Brand Manager for Sports “1320 ESPN” KIFM Sacramento.
Madson has co-hosted “The Insiders” with James Ham since September 2023 after previously serving as a producer at sister “95.7 The Game” KGMZ San Francisco and Bonneville’s “Sactown Sports 1140” KHTK Sacramento. Madson is also the Managing Editor for NinersWire and hosts a Saturday morning K-Pop show on sister CHR “106.5 The End” KUDL.

Jeff Austin had been overseeing KIFM in addition to “The Fan” 1080 KFXX (now 105.1 KRSK-FM) Portland until his retirement earlier this year. KIFM Assistant Brand Manager Charlie Mallonee retired from the station last week. Mallonee joined KIFM as a producer in 2019 before rising to the APD role in 2023. He also served as a reporter for Sports Radio Service covering the Sacramento Kings and Oakland Athletics, has hosted shows at KSAC Sacramento and KNRY Monterey and was play-by-play voice for San Jose State University, San Jose Bees baseball, and San Jose Lasers women’s basketball.
