HEH Communications is beginning the search for a new General Manager as Tim Johnson steps down to return to the Midwest to assist his family.
Johnson has led Country 101.7 KSAM-FM and Classic Hits “The Lake” 1490 KHVL/94.1 K231DA/104.9 K285GE Huntsville TX since 2021.
Prior to joining HEH, Johnson has held roles including Marketing Director for WFOX and WPCH Atlanta, KKBQ/KLDE/KODA Houston, WKQX and WLS Chicago, VP/Intranet Marketing and Communications for Clear Channel, Station Manager for KMIC Houston, and Live Events and Experiences Director for CBS Radio Boston.
The company is seeking someone to “lead the business development, daily operations and strategic direction for our passionate team running two radio stations in a growing college town north of Houston” including direct sales, managing political advertising, hiring and coaching while leading sales and technical teams to ensure consistent station performance and delivering results.
