Brad Fuhr’s KGAY PSP is pulling off a programming shift in Palm Springs.
LGBTQ+ Dance “KGAY” has moved from 106.5 K293CL Thousand Palms and rimshot 92.1 KGAY-FM Thermal to 103.1 replacing Soft Oldies “MeTV Music” KMEE-FM Palm Desert. 92.1 and 103.1 have swapped call letters. The move boosts KGAY to the full-market Class A signal.
All three signals will simulcast until January 1 when a new format will debut on 106.5. (see our Domain Insight report from 12/21 for more info). What happens to 92.1, which is currently operated via LMA from William Watson, is unclear at the moment.
