Writing on his blog, Bartlett stated, “If I could make a little farewell speech to the audience, it would go like this: ‘Doing drive-time radio in Madison, Wisconsin, was a lifelong dream, and now that it’s over, I worry that I haven’t appreciated it enough. It has been a privilege to be in your ear every day. I hope I have added something worthwhile to your life. I am grateful to those of you who called, e-mailed, or sought me out in person because you felt a connection with my show. This has been the greatest experience of my professional life, and I thank you for it.’”
