Radiocentre has announced the appointment of Jennie Stubbs as its new Head of Learning & Development, bringing more than 25 years of radio industry experience to the role.
Jennie will lead Radiocentre’s learning and development programmes, which help brands and agencies understand the effectiveness and creative potential of radio and audio advertising.
Her work will include delivering in-person and online training courses, bespoke workshops, consultancy sessions, and tailored presentations for the industry.
She joins Radiocentre following senior commercial roles at broadcasters including talkSPORT, Chrysalis Radio, and most recently Global, where she was Director of Content Solutions.
At Global, she led high-profile partnerships such as the first Heart Network Breakfast sponsorship with Sky and the company’s commercial relationship with Apple Music. Jennie left Global at the end of last year.
Her appointment follows the retirement of Judith Spilsbury, who has been with Radiocentre for more than 25 years and was instrumental in developing its respected training and development programmes.
Judith’s work has been credited with setting the benchmark for learning within the commercial radio industry.
Radiocentre’s Client Director Lucy Barrett says: “We are delighted to welcome Jennie to Radiocentre. Her wealth of experience and insight into the needs of brands and agencies make her perfectly placed to evolve our training programme and champion the power of audio for advertisers.
“I also want to pay tribute to the outstanding work Judith has done. Her training programme is embedded with agencies and brands and is much admired and valued by our members so we will all miss her.”
Jennie adds: “I’m really excited to be joining Radiocentre. Radio has always been a huge passion of mine, so having the chance to share that enthusiasm and help inspire the radio and audio advocates of the future is the dream role for me. I can’t wait to start making an impact.”
