Midwest Communications Classic Rock 103.5 WIMZ Knoxville TN will debut a local morning show on Monday, January 5 as evening host Jay Mac and weekend host Drake Meredith will take over the daypart following the conclusion of the syndicated John Boy & Billy Show.
Jay Mac has hosted nights at WIMZ since 2006 after previously hosting nights at Country KJJQ Garden City KS. She also serves as lead singer of the “WIMZ Garage Band”. She said, “With wonderful memories of The Night Show, and a heart full of gratitude and love, I am absolutely thrilled to say Good Morning, East Tennessee! Buckle Up Buttercup, this is going to be one wild and crazy ride”
Drake Meredith has served as Programming & Promotions Coordinator for the Midwest Communications cluster since 2019. He previously spent five years on-air at sister CHR “Hot 96” WHTO Evansville IN.
