Jane McCarry and Micky Gavin join new STV Radio line-up

STV Radio has announced three new presenters for its 2026 launch, with Jane McCarry, Micky Gavin and Jodie McCluskey joining the station.

Jane McCarry, best known for playing Isa Drennan in Still Game, will co-host a new weekend show with presenter Micky Gavin. Their show, Micky and McCarry, will air every Saturday morning from 9am to midday.

The pair will also be stand-in hosts for Ewen and Cat on Breakfast, when they are away.

Speaking about her new role, Jane said: “To get the chance to gab to folk from all over Scotland, play some cracking tunes, and have a cairry oan with Mickey over a roll and sausage on a Saturday morning is literally as good as life gets at 55. I cannae wait.”

Micky added: “Working with Jane is going to be a hoot. We met for the first time a few months ago and hit it off instantly. It feels like I’m joining the radio equivalent of The Avengers.”

In addition to his weekend show, Micky Gavin will host weekday evenings 6pm to 10pm, while Jodie McCluskey takes on the late-night slot from 10pm to 1am, Monday to Thursday.

Jodie, who previously hosted MFR’s breakfast show, said: “I’m thrilled to be part of the new STV Radio family and can’t wait to get started alongside such a talented line-up.”

STV Radio says these latest signings bring further depth to its on-air team, combining household names with familiar radio voices ahead of its launch next year.
