After Bob Frantz’s exit from middays at Salem Media Group Conservative Talk “1420 The Answer” WHK/102.9 W275DF Cleveland earlier this month, the station has added a new local late morning show hosted by Jake Underwood.
Underwood takes the 9am to 12pm timeslot that had been held by Frantz. The current Executive Director of the Republican Party of Medina County, Underwood also held roles as an advisor and technical director for Robert F Kennedy Jr.’s presidential campaign and Director of National Legislation for MAHA Health. He previously worked at iHeartMedia’s 1100 WTAM Cleveland from 2019 to 2023 holding roles as a producer for Geraldo Rivera and news anchor.
