Ronald Ross Jr.’s Shouthouse Broadcasting has launched Red Dirt Country “Hill Country 104.7” KHSB-FM Kingsland/Marble Falls TX.
KHSB-FM had been simulcasting Christian Preaching “The Bridge” 1120 KTXW Austin until the $185,000 sale from Shane Fox’s Munbilla Broadcasting to Shouthouse closed last month.
Jim Nash joins the station as Program Director. Nash previously programmed “106.9 The Ranch” KRVF Kerens/Corsicana from 2006 to 2017 and later held on-air roles at “92.9 Shooter-FM” KRMX Waco. He also currently serves as President of the Christian Music Association and hosts mornings on “Heart of Texas Radio“.
Nash commented, “We will be playing the artists that built Texas—You know ’em all: Willie, Lyle, Stevie Ray, Junior, Rodney & Radney! Plus a ton of road-hardened bands that rocked the dive bars and dancehalls all across the Lone Star State. Do you like The Mavericks, Turnpike Troubadours and Shane Smith & The Saints? Well, we do too. And don’t be surprised if we throw you a curve now and then! We’ll also play the artists that will one day fill the shoes of the Legends.”
