
Former “New Jersey 101.5” WKXW Trenton has brought back former Program Director Eric Johnson to co-host middays with Judy Franco.
Johnson programmed the Townsquare Media Conservative Talk/Classic Hits station from 1999 to 2017. He then moved to Beasley Media Group first to program Sports “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN-FM Philadelphia. After exiting that role in November 2019, he would return to Beasley in June 2020 to program AC 99.5 WJBR Wilmington DE until it was sold and flipped in 2023 after which he would move to the same role at Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK Philadelphia until his position was eliminated in January. He also hosted middays at WMGK and Classic Hits 105.7 WROR Boston. Earlier in his career, Johnson held roles as APD of Sports 610 WIP from 1994-99, PD of Hot AC turned Alternative “Y100” 100.3 WPLY from 1991-1994 and CHR “Laser 104.1” WAEB-FM Allentown PA, and worked at 104.5 WSNI Philadelphia and 97.5 WPST Trenton.
He now returns to the station to join the newly coined “The Judi & EJ Show” in middays succeeding the retiring Dennis Malloy, who ended his 32 year run at the station today.
