Cumulus Media has flipped two of its stations in Florence SC.
Hot AC “Q100.1” WQPD Lake City is now simulcasting Gospel “Glory 98.5” WBZF Hartsville. While WBZF better covers the areas north and west of Florence, WQPD adds additional FM coverage in Florence and parts south.
The addition makes 540 WYNN Florence redundant for the Gospel format, which has led it to flipping to Classic Country “540 The Hound” utilizing Westwood One’s network programming.
WQPD had been the local Florence affiliate for “The Bert Show” with the station registering a 0.6 share in the Spring 2025 Nielsen Audio ratings. WBZF/WYNN were second overall with a 7.5 share trailing only sister Hip Hop 106.3 WYNN-FM with its 11.9 share.
