Craig Hoffman has departed afternoons at Audacy Sports “The Team 980” WTEM Washington DC to join the NBA’s Washington Wizards and WNBA’s Washington Mystics in an executive role.
Hoffman has hosted 4-7pm on WTEM since June 2022 after previously holding other roles at WTEM and sister “106.7 The Fan” WJFK-FM including Washington Commanders beat reporter, Commanders pre and postgame show host, and evening/weekend host at WJFK since 2016. He also had an earlier stint at then Red Zebra Broadcasting owned WTEM in 2015-16. Prior to arriving in Washington, Hoffman held roles at KLWN Lawrence KS and KESN Dallas.
Hoffman told listeners on Wednesday that he is joining Wizards and Mystics owner Monumental Basketball as Senior Director of Basketball Identity and Integration.
