
Chuck Reeves will retire from his role as morning host a WAKYANA LLC Oldies 620 WAKY/100.1 W261CO/106.3 W292FS Louisville and 103.5 WAKY-FM Radcliff KY at the end of the year capping the end of a four decade radio career.
Reeves joined WAKY in 2022 after previously holding programming roles at stations including KURK Reno, KHVL Huntsville TX, KQBL Boise and KTFW Fort Worth. He has also held roles at KNOT Prescott AZ, KTAR Phoenix, KRLT/KOWL South Lake Tahoe CA, and a thirteen year run at KBUL Reno from 1993 to 2006.
Reeves commented, “Man, what a ride. I can’t begin to tell you how much fun this has been. The friends that I’ve made, the changes that I’ve witnessed through the decades and the memories that I take with me, well, let’s just say that I’ve been beyond blessed and extremely fortunate.”
