K-Love Inc. has announced the addition of Lacy Abercrombie as new midday host on Contemporary Worship “Air1“.
Abercrombie is a newcomer to radio after previously building a brand as a Christian speaker, Bible teacher, and content creator. The network says, “Her mission to help people know God’s Word makes her an ideal addition to Air1’s Worship Now format. She shares her own testimony with honesty and warmth, while teaching the Bible in ways that are relatable for everyday life.” She will be heard weekdays from 11am to 3pm eastern.
VP Radio Mandy Young commented, “We are so excited to add Lacy to the Air1 line up. Lacy has created an amazing community online with heart, humor, and authenticity. We cannot wait to see how God uses her on Air1 as she helps listeners worship through every day.”
Abercrombie takes the midday slot that has been held by Josh Ashton. Ashton, who has been with the network for sixteen years, will continue in a new role curating programming across Air1’s platforms. He will also host overnights on the network.
