
Bustos Media has agreed to acquire AC “Mixx 96.1” KXXO Olympia WA from David Rauh and Toni Holm’s 3 Cities Inc. for $1.5 million.
KXXO, a Class C with 37kW/717m, serves the southern Puget Sound area including Tacoma and rimshots portions of Seattle. It will becomes Bustos Media’s fifth station in the market joining Regional Mexican “La Gran D” 99.3 KDDS-FM Elma, “La Zeta” 102.9 KZTM McKenna and 103.3 KZNW Oak Harbor, and Brokered Spanish Christian “Amor 1210” KMIA Auburn-Federal Way.
Rauh and Holm have owned KXXO since it began operations in 1990 with Rauh as General Manager and Holm as Station Manager. They will retain all of the station’s intellectual property other than the KXXO call letters and KXXO.com domain including the programming and marketing assets including email lists, websites, trademarks, service marks and related intellectual property; music files, liners, and jingles; production libraries and computers; financial, traffic, and billing records; leases for music scheduling and delivery, streaming, and traffic or billing; current studio lease, employee or programming contracts; any equipment, fixture, or personal property appurtenant to the tower which is owned by a third-party lessee to the tower.
