After two and half years as Executive Producer of Audacy’s syndicated “Katie & Company” midday show, Brody Smith has exited in a round of restructuring.
Smith told RadioInsight, “I’ve avoided getting laid off in radio for the last 25 years until Thursday morning. From that standpoint I consider myself pretty lucky. This opportunity in Nashville was a blessing in so many ways, where I not only made some close friendships but learned so much more about myself. Thank you to Tim Roberts, Katie Neal and Jeff Sottolano for this opportunity to grow and be a part of this award winning show!”
Prior to joining Katie & Company in April 2023, Smith was PD/afternoon host at “Country Superstars 102.3” WKJO Smithfield/Raleigh NC from 2020 until its sale and flip at the end of 2022. He previously programmed iHeartMedia CHR “Wild 95.5” WLDI West Palm Beach, served as APD of AC “Sunny 106.5” KSNE Las Vegas, and had two stints at CHR “G105” WDCG Raleigh as APD/MD from 2003-2012 and morning show producer/co-host from 2016-18 and on-air at WKCI New Haven and WQGN New London CT.
