Brett Andrews Adds Mornings At WOLX-FM Madison

Andrews commented, “I’m so excited to be back on the air in Madison and waking up Southern Wisconsin on 94.9 WOLX, one of the most listened to and respected radio stations in the state. Andrews previously served as SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia Madison and Milwaukee until exiting in January. He joined iHeart Milwaukee in 2015 as Program Director for Classic Hits “95.7 Big-FM” WRIT-FM and formerly programmed CHR “97.3 Now” WRNW-FM. He added oversight of CHR “Z104” WZEE Madison in 2020 and hosted mornings on WRIT-FM and tracked shifts for iHeartMedia stations across the country. Andrews previously hosted nights at WXSS in 2007 along with stints at KFRX Lincoln NE, KZCH Wichita, and afternoons at “Hot 97.5” KVEG Las Vegas. He joined iHeartMedia in 2010 as Assistant Program Director of CHR “Z100” KKRZ and Rhythmic CHR “Wild 107.5” KXJM Portland before rising to Program Director. He moved to St. Louis to program CHR “Z107.7” KSLZ and Rhythmic CHR “Wild 104.9” KBWX from 2013 to 2015 prior to his move to Milwaukee.

Andrews succeeds Jesse Garon in mornings at WOLX-FM.
