iHeartMedia News/Talk 600 KOGO San Diego has tabbed Bret Burkhart as the new co-anchor of the “KOGO Morning News” joining Veronica Carter.
Burkhart joins KOGO from Audacy News 740 KCBS/106.9 KFRC San Francisco where he has served as an anchor and reporter since June 2022. He previously had a 22 year run as an anchor at News/Talk 810 KGO San Francisco and has also held reporter an anchor roles at KFBK Sacramento and KCSC and KPAY Chico CA.
Burkhart succeeds Ted Garcia, who departed KOGO last month. Carter joined KOGO in September 2024.
