Shawn Patrick 98.5 KYGO DenverBonneville International has announced a series of programming promotions at Country 98.5 KYGO and AC 101.1 KOSI Denver.

APD/afternoon host Shawn Patrick has risen to Program Director. Patrick originally joined the station as afternoon host in August 2022 after serving as PD/afternoon host for iHeartMedia’s duo of “Y96.9” KCCY Pueblo/Colorado Springs and “Big 97.9” KXBG Cheyenne WY/Fort Collins. He commented, “For a country music lover from Colorado, just getting to be a part of the legendary 98.5 KYGO is a dream. It was recently announced that I now get the privilege of being the station’s Program Director. I’ve been so fortunate to learn from one of the smartest people in the industry, Brian Michel, and this selfless move shows his solid character. If you listen to my show in the afternoon, thank you, and nothing is changing there. I’m incredibly grateful for this career that continues to bring me so much joy and just keeps getting sweeter!”

Michael ‘Big Mic’ Buhrman has been promoted at Assistant Program Director for both KYGO and KOSI. Buhrman will continue as Executive Producer of KYGO’s Tracy & Fizz morning show and tracking nights on KYGO and 105.1 KNCI Sacramento. He joined KYGO in April 2023 after serving as Regional Brand Manager for Audacy’s Rhythmic CHR stations. He spent the majority of his career with eighteen years at Audacy’s “KS 107.5” KQKS Denver rising from weekend host to APD/MD, while also programming “Comedy 103.1” KQKS-HD2. He moved to 102.5 KSFM Sacramento in May 2018 as PD/afternoon host and later added oversight of CHR “106.5 The End” KUDL. At KSFM he was also responsible for KQKS, “Hot 93.7” WZMX Hartford and “Power 93.5” KDGS Wichita.

Finalizing the promotions, KOSI morning host Jenny D adds Music Director duties at that station. Jenny joined KOSI in 2018 after previously co-hosting mornings at Country “92.5 The Wolf” KWOF and holding roles at KYGO and Westwood One.

Director of Operations Brian Michel, who is handing over the day-to-day Program Director duties at KYGO, will continue to program KOSI. He stated, “For several years, Shawn has been an exceptional brand steward and guiding force for KYGO, and this promotion recognizes his outstanding contributions. Big Mic brings invaluable OM experience and an unstoppable drive for excellence — he truly is a Swiss Army knife of talent. Jenny has been instrumental in managing music logs, scheduling, and countless behind-the-scenes operations at KOSI. This promotion formalizes the leadership role she’s already been excelling in.”
