Bill Crawford is exiting the morning show at iHeartMedia Classic Rock 102.5 WDVE Pittsburgh after thirteen years to focus on his stand-up comedy career.
Crawford joined the WDVE morning show in 2012 after previously appearing as a regular guest. He told listeners, “It’s not an easy decision, because I love this show, and this city and you guys so much. But sometimes you’ve just gotta follow your calling and listen to that voice that says, it’s time.”
Host Randy Baumann and Abby Krizner remain in place on the morning show. Baumann wrote, “Completely bummed about this but realize Bill’s ambition and aspirations are in pursuing his comedy/standup career. As I’ve always said he’s one of the best in the country and he’s gonna kill it but it’s beyond hard to see him go. After all…”He’s a DVE guy!”
