Cox Media Group Hot AC “Magic 94.9” WWRM Tampa has tabbed Alexia Gonzalez as its new midday host starting Monday, November 3.
Gonzalez most recently worked at SBS Spanish Tropical “El Zol 97.1” WSUN-FM and has also hosted at SBS’ Mega-TV and Home Shopping Network. She also owns marketing agency The Gaia Group.
She shared, “Can’t tell you the excitement I feel getting back to my radio roots as radio has always been in my DNA, growing up with both of my parents in the radio industry, some of my earliest memories were hanging out in DJ booths, backstage at concerts, recording commercials, and singing jingles before I even hit my teens. By 12, I was working in Spanish radio and made my way to television hosting and acting.”
