Alek Halverson has exited his role as Program Director and afternoon host at iHeartMedia Country 100.7 KASE Austin and “KJ 97” KAJA San Antonio.
As first reported by Country Aircheck, Halverson had joined iHeart in January 2021 as APD for CHR “96.7 Kiss-FM” KHFI and afternoon host at KASE. He rose to Program Director of KAJA in November 2021 and later added those duties at KASE. Halverson previously was MD/afternoon host at Audacy Country “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF Seattle and Radio FM Media Hot AC “Big 98.7” KLTA Moorhead MN/Fargo ND. He also served as Program Director and morning host on Radio FM Media CHR “Hits 96.9” K245BY/KLTA-HD2 and hosted nights at Country “Bob 95” 95.1 KBVB Fargo.
