Townsquare Media has made its second flip in Grand Rapids MI this month.
After flipping Classic Hits “98.7 The Grand” WFGR to Sports at the start of the month, Townsquare has backfilled the Classic Hits opening by shifting the former Soft AC “100.5 The River” WTRV Walker to Classic Hits upon the conclusion of its annual Christmas music run.
Previous WTRV morning host Andy Rent will continue in that daypart, while former WFGR afternoon host Janna Hoke will move to the River. The remainder of the lineup will be made up of Townsquare’s national Classic Hits voicetrackers including Sarah Sullivan in middays and Jen Austin at night.
WTRV had a 2.1 share in the November 2025 Nielsen Audio ratings, while WFGR in its last monthly as Classic Hits had a 2.9 share.
