Jojo, who previously worked at stations including WBSS Atlantic City, WDRQ Detroit, and WIOQ Philadelphia had led the “Jojo & Lily” morning show on the station since 2015 with the show simulcast on “Big Froggy 101” WFGE State College in 2023. After announcing his departure yesterday, Jojo has fired off a series of posts in which he alleged that he had told management that he wasn’t happy with things hindering their show. He stated that the followed by telling him,“well since it sounds like you’re leaving, we’ll just let you go now. Please resign in writing,” which he declined.

The station account posted earlier today, “We want to respond directly to rumors currently circulating on social media about the Froggy 98 morning show. We want to be clear that the story currently being crafted publicly on social media is false. At 7 Mountains Media, we DO NOT make rash personnel decisions. We take our responsibility to our employees, their families and our listeners very seriously. The last thing we would ever want to do is destroy our most popular and valuable show. We were fans of the show, but as with any business, sometimes personnel decisions have to be made for the protection of all of our employees. We understand that this is a great loss for the community and we wish this could have been avoided. We will continue to put the welfare of our employees before profits, no matter how difficult the fallout may be.”
