
Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.
Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Seattle, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Washington DC
Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP is up 11.9 to 12.1. Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU rises 11.0 to 11.6. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR is up 6.6 to 7.0. iHeartMedia Alternative “DC 101” WWDC dipped 5.5 to 5.0, while sister AC 97.1 WASH held at a 4.9 share.
Classical 90.1 WETA drops 4.4 to 3.7.
Following the launch of Spanish CHR “Latino 104.1” at the start of the monthly, the new brand debuted with a 0.2 share. The Gospel “Praise” format that moved from 104.1 to 92.7 WDCJ and 95.9 dropped 1.9 to 1.3. Audacy’s incumbent Spanish CHR “El Zol 107.9” WLZL was down 3.8 to 3.0.
Audacy Rhythmic CHR 95.5 WPGC was up 2.9 to 3.0 with its stream rising 0.5 to 0.8.
Boston
Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM climbs 4.4 – 5.2 – 6.4 – 6.9 on the heels of the Patriots’ hot start to retake the Boston lead. Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX slides 7.6 – 6.5 – 6.1. Beasley Classic Hits 105.7 WROR ends its climb down 6.5 to 5.6. iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM is up 5.1 to 5.3. Public News/Talk 90.9 WBUR rises 4.2 to 5.0.
iHeartMedia News 1030 WBZ is up 4.1 – 4.5 – 4.7. Public News/Talk 89.7 WGBH-FM rises 3.0 – 3.3 – 3.7.
Audacy Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM falls 5.7 to 4.4. iHeart Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX slides 5.4 – 4.8 – 4.3.
Audacy Variety Hits “Big 103” WBGB is up 3.5 to 3.7 with its stream debuting at a 0.7 share. Beasley Country 102.5 WKLB skids 4.2 – 3.7 – 3.5.
Miami/Fort Lauderdale
Cox Media Group Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT was up 6.6 to 6.9, while sister Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ slid 7.2 to 6.6. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR rose was up 5.3 to 5.8. Audacy Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ was off 5.3 to 5.3, with sister AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF dropping 6.5 to 5.2.
iHeart Spanish CHR “Tú 94.9” WZTU jumps 2.9 to 3.9. SBS Spanish Rhythmic “Ritmo 95.7” WRMA climbs 1.6 – 2.3 – 2.5.
ANCO Media Dance “Revolution 93.5” WZFL slides 1.9 – 1.5 – 1.3.

Audacy Rock 99.9 KISW inches up 5.6 to 5.8. Bonneville’s “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO falls 9.1 to 5.2 following the end of the Mariners’ playoff run. Christa Media Christian AC “Spirit 105.3” KCMS-FM jumps 3.9 to 4.7.

Hubbard Alternative “93.3 Alt AZ” KDKB climbs 2.4 – 2.6 – 3.0 – 3.5. Audacy Country 107.9 KMLE dips 3.8 to 3.4, but its stream rises 0.1 to 0.8.
Classical 89.5 KBAQ falls 3.4 to 2.5. Public News/Talk 91.5 KJZZ-FM drops 2.7 to 2.0.

With its final week move to Christmas music, iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC rose to the top 7.4 to 8.0. Following the end of the Tigers playoff run, Audacy Sports “97.1 The Ticket” WXYT-FM fell 10.3 to 7.4 with its stream down 3.3 to 2.1. iHeart Adult R&B “Mix 92.3” WMXD swung 7.4 – 6.9 – 7.3. Audacy Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC ended its slide up 5.5 to 6.0, while Country 99.5 WYCD was up 4.8 to 5.5.
Beasley Rock 101.1 WRIF trended up 4.3 – 4.6 – 5.1. Audacy Alternative “Alt 98.7” WDZH jumped 3.0 to 3.9.
Beasley Rhythmic Throwbacks “105.1 The Bounce” WMGC-FM slides 4.0 – 3.4. – 3.0.

In the month where K-Love debuted in the market, Radio Training Network Christian AC “The Joy FM” 91.5 WCIE jumped up 6.9 to 8.8 for what Huff noted was its largest share ever. Cox Media Group took the next three spots. Classic Rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL rose 6.2 to 7.0. Soft AC 105.5 WDUV dipped 7.1 to 6.8. Hot AC “Magic 94.9” WWRM was up 5.0 to 5.3 for its best share since October 2022 to tie iHeartMedia Country “US 103.5” WFUS as it dipped 5.1 to 4.7.
iHeart CHR 93.3 WFLZ trends up 3.0 – 3.2 – 3.9. Beasley Rhythmic CHR “Wild 94.1” WLLD continues its gain 2.5 – 2.7 – 3.7 – 3.9. iHeart Spanish CHR “Rumba 95.7” WRUB falls 3.0 – 2.2 – 1.9.
