Casson Media Acquires WJBC-FM From Cumulus

Route 24 Radio Casson Media 93.7 WJBC-FM PontiacCumulus Media has found a buyer for one of the over twenty stations it took silent in March.

Kent Casson’s Casson Media will purchase the former Classic Country “93.7 Nash Icon” WJBC-FM Pontiac IL for $90,000. Casson operates the Central Illinois Farm Network, the streaming Full Service “Route 24 Radio“, and a few local news websites. As part of the deal, Casson will be required to change call letters of the station ahead of closing.

Cumulus operated the Class B1 signal out of its Bloomington IL cluster although it rimshotts the city from the north. The station had a 1.1 share in the Bloomington ratings in Fall 2024 before going silent.
