Aiir is making PlayoutOne’s Standard version available for free.
Aiir COO Dave Brierley-Jones said, “This isn’t a trial, a teaser, or a limited offer. It’s a full release of the software that helped so many hobbyists, community stations, and broadcasters bring their ideas to life. And now it’s available to anyone at no cost.”
The Standard version will no longer receive updates or support from Aiir. The company is also making its LiveStream tool and companion apps Auto Importer and FileCopy can be used with a limit of one job per app. Jones adds, “That’s enough for many hobbyists and small stations to automate basic music, content, or file movement workflows. And of course, for broadcasters who later find they need more advanced features, more automation, or a fully supported platform, you can upgrade to PlayoutONE Pro at any time. Pro is designed for stations with greater needs, providing you with the modern, scalable tools to grow confidently.”
