Stingray Expands In Calgary

C97.7 CHUP-FM CalgaryOn the heels of its acquisition of streamer TuneIn, Stingray is growing its radio cluster in Calgary with the purchase of Hot AC “C97.7” CHUP-FM Calgary from Rawlco Radio.

CHUP-FM will become Stingray’s third FM in Calgary joining their CHR “90.3 Amp Radio” CKMP-FM and Classic Hits “XL 103” CFXL-FM.

The deal is subject to CRTC approval which is expected in the second quarter of Stingray’s 2027 fiscal year. Purchase price was not disclosed. Rawlco retains its three stations each in Regina and Saskatoon SK.
