Relevant Radio is acquiring Spanish CHR “Mega 101.7” 910 WLAT/101.7 W269DE New Britain CT from Gois Broadcasting for $400,000. The deal will mark the Catholic network operator’s entrance into the Hartford market and the state of Connecticut. Gois retains “Exitos 105.3” 1230 WNEZ/W287CS and Adult R&B 1480 WKND/97.5 W248CR in the Hartford market.
Steve Newberry is acquiring Country “Kix 92.1” WTKY-FM Tompkinsville KY from Frank Keeton Aircasters for $65,000. The station will join Newberry’s Glasgow KY cluster with our 10/12 Domain Insight report expecting it to simulcast on a Glasgow translator with a new brand.
Teleamerica Communications West Palm Beach Corp. transfers its CPs for 90.7 Big Pine Key FL, 91.7 KIJR Deming NM, and 90.9 KNQR Alamogordo NM to Gethsemane Fellowship of Churches International Corp. for no consideration. Both groups feature the same parties with different ownership stakes.
