MARC Radio Classic Country “106.9 I Am Country” WPLL Cross City/Gainesville FL has launched “Boots and Breakfast with Becky Dee” in mornings.
Dee most recently spent the past eight years hosting weekends at University of Florida Country “103.7 The Gator” WRUF-FM. Earlier in her career she held roles at WAEV Savannah GA and WAPE Jacksonville, before working full-time in the hotel industry. She fills the morning show opening created by the passing of Heather Jennings in a car accident last December.
MARC Radio Program Director Vinny Foo said, “I’m super excited for the ‘Boots and Breakfast’ morning show. I know mornings is ideally the anchor of the station and Becky would be a great anchor. She’s genuine, super fun, super relatable and she’s very familiar with all the country hits. She’s already well known in the community, so it’s almost like a perfect fit for her to be the face and, ideally, the brand ambassador of 106.9 FM ‘I Am Country.’”
