Don Parker Brand StrategiesVeteran programming executive Don Parker has announced the launch of consulting firm Parker Brand Strategies.

Parker says the company is dedicated to helping broadcasters and media companies create, strengthen, and rejuvenate their brands for long-term success, “Media brands are as much about connection as they are about content. Whether it’s creating a new brand from scratch or turning around a legacy station, my mission is to help companies build brands that matter—brands that consumers and advertisers truly identify with and believe in.”

The company will specialize in brand creation, brand Building, turnarounds, and programming excellence. Parker most recently served as Regional SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia’s Northern California Region, Program Director of Hip Hop 106.1 KMEL and General Manager of the national LGBTQ+ “Pride Radio“ from 2009 until exiting in the company’s November 2024 layoffs. He previously has programmed Dance “Energy 92.7” KNGY San Francisco, Rhythmic Oldies AC “Mega 100” KCMG Los Angeles, Hip Hop “Power 92” KKFR Phoenix, Alternative “94.5 The Buzz” KTBZ-FM Houston and has served as Vice President of Programming for NextMedia.
