Air1 Worship Now Educational Media Foundation EMFWhile the approval and closing of the $4 million sale of 93.3 WLDB and 102.1 WLUM Milwaukee to K-Love Inc. is being held up by the government shutdown, K-Love Inc. has begun operating one of its pending new acquisitions.

102.1 WLUM dropped its “FM 102.1” Alternative format around 7:10pm on Tuesday evening and began airing the Contemporary Worship “Air 1” network. 93.3 WLDB continues with the ghost of its AC “B93.3” format, despite iHeartMedia’s claiming of the brand for “B97.3” WRNW.

K-Love Inc’s flagship Christian AC “K-Love” brand already operates in the Milwaukee market on 105.3 WLVE Mukwanago. It is expected that format will move to 93.3 to place it on a stronger signal in the market.
